What We Do
Our team takes a consultative, personal approach when booking travel packages and itineraries for our specialty groups. We prioritize long-term relationships and take the time to get to know each group individually so we can recommend the best value that meets our client’s specific needs and budget. Our focus is on customizing our clients’ travel itineraries tailored to their groups’ goals. Every year, Mondee Groups has a large amount of repeat and referral clients that prove our commitment to prioritizing the well-being of our travelers.
We’ve worked with global organizations such as World Learning, a non-profit delivering education programs in more than 150 countries, to organize travel for youth groups on study abroad and exchange programs. Our dedicated and expert team is able to work one-on-one with program coordinators to offer itineraries that best suit their travel requirements while considering factors such as the age of the participants involved, as well as health and safety concerns.
We help our clients through every step of the process from booking the trip, to creating the itinerary, managing deadlines, and assisting with any travel disruptions that may occur. Our number one goal is the well-being of our travelers, and we work diligently to make sure our clients are happy, healthy, and safe on their trip.

Johanne Cossette
Johanne has over thirty years of experience in the travel industry. Her background is in international public relations and communications. She is from Quebec, Canada and currently lives in Boston. Although she lives in Portugal for part of the year. She’s been working with Mondee Groups since 2019.
Johanne has worked in all facets of the travel industry. She began her career in the airlines in Montreal before moving on to work as a travel agent. In 1983, she started her own travel agency in Santa Barbara, CA. She has worn many hats including tour director, working with 5-star historic hotels, negotiating contracts for a tour operator in Europe, and customizing itineraries for academic institutions. For the last 17 years, she has specialized in group travel for leisure and academic purposes.
Her role has been focused on Marketing and Sales for Mondee Groups. She’s passionate about working with Mondee Groups because of the people, values, and amazing relationships they have with our global partners.
Giuliana Gherardi
Giuliana has over 25 years in the travel industry. Her background is in the tourism business, foreign languages, and IT Software engineering. Giuliana is from Italy but now calls Frederick, MD her home.
She began her career working in the hospitality industry in the Mediterranean area, then moved to France to work at Disneyland Paris in the reservation department. She later worked as a travel agent, tour operator, and four-star hotel as a front desk assistant manager.
When she moved to the United States, Giuliana started working for a small agency in Los Angeles with very high-end clients from the fashion and entertainment business. Afterward, she joined the group department at Key Travel and specialized in group travel for the academic and NGO sector.
Giuliana is passionate about the Mondee Groups team because the people have a breadth of knowledge and experience. There are also always opportunities to learn and take on challenges. Her role on the team is supporting operations and sales, as well as working on customizing processes to fit the client’s needs and improve efficiency.
Jan Gurudutt
With over three decades of airline industry experience, Jan brings twenty-two years of airline consolidator and group travel business experience to the Mondee Groups team. She specializes in corporate, religious, leisure, educational and ethnic group markets to meet clients’ needs.
